The “Center for Mission and Nomocanonical Studies” is organized as a scientific research unit within the “Babeș-Bolyai” University and is established in the Faculty of Orthodox Theology. The Center for Mission and Nomocanonical Studies is an autonomous structure, without legal personality, with a professional, scientific and educational profile. The headquarters of the Center for Mission and Nomocanonical Studies is located within the Faculty of Orthodox Theology, str. Episcop Nicolae Ivan, F.N., 400692, Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

The Center for Mission and Nomocanonical Studies was established by merging the “Center for Missionary Research, Training and Strategies” and the “Center for Nomocanonical Studies” within the Faculties of Orthodox Theology of Babeș-Bolyai University.

The Center for Mission and Nomocanonical Studies is the legal and factual successor of the two Research Centers.

The Center for Mission and Nomocanonical Studies comprises two research departments:

  1. Department of Mission Studies
  2. Department of Nomocanonical Studies
